Next Steps for Admitted Students

Once you have been admitted please follow the steps below to complete the enrollment process.

  • Step One - Financial Aid Application & Award Status

  • Step Two - Access Student Email & My NSU

    Step Two: Access your university email address and MyNSU account

    • Your university email address can be found in your acceptance letter.



  • Step Three - Confirm Your Enrollment

    Step Three: Confirm your Enrollment

    Navigate to MyNSU to access the link to set-up your NSU email account. Upon completion, please click the Spartan Self-Service tab within MyNSU to pay the required deposits.  Once you have made a payment, you will receive a confirmation email with your NSU New Student Orientation code. 
    Payments are also accepted by calling Norfolk State University's Cashier Office.  Please call 757-823-8545 for assistance.

  • Step Four - Complete On-Campus Housing Application

    Step Four: Complete the on-campus housing application

    The housing application fee is $300.

  • Step Five - Complete & Submit Required Health Forms

    Step Five: Complete and submit required health forms

    Please return completed health forms to the University Health Center

  • Step Six - Register for New Student Orientation

    Step Sic: Register for transfer orientation

    Orientation is required for all transfers.  The fee for orientation is $100.  This must be paid prior to reserving your orientation date.  Payments can be made through your MyNSU account or over the phone at 757-823-8545.  After payment has been made, you will receive a confirmation code that you will use to register for your session.  Please click here to register
