Social Media Brand Standards
Norfolk State University's social media presence should reflect a consistent, professional and recognizable visual identity. University-affiliated accounts should follow NSU's established brand standards when selecting profile images, creating graphics and using University marks.
Profile Images & Account Identity
Use a consistent profile image across social media platforms so audiences can easily recognize your account.
Official University departments, offices, schools and colleges should use approved unit identifiers or other approved imagery that clearly represents their area. Avoid creating unofficial variations of University logos or marks.
Student organizations with established identities may use their approved organizational branding.
University Logos & Marks
University logos and marks must be used in accordance with NSU's Brand and Visual Identity standards.
The NSU Athletics logo is reserved for Athletics, and the University Seal is restricted to designated official University documents.
Use only approved University logos and unit identifiers. Do not alter, distort, recolor or recreate official University marks.
