The NoVEl pathway

The NoVEL Program provides support to STEM undergraduate and pre-college students to prepare to pursue internships and careers at National Laboratories. Student participants receive a stipend commensurate with their classification. Students in the NoVEL Consortium schools who intend to pursue graduate education in a STEM field and careers at National Laboratories are strongly encouraged to apply.

Requirements for Participation and Financial Support:
The NoVEL Pathway includes different levels to allow for participation of students according to their academic classification, interests and preparedness.

NoVEL participants work on NoVEL research, projects, and education and professional development-related activities. Each university campus holds research, education and project activities during the week. During the fall and spring semesters, NoVEL participants from all campuses join on a virtual meeting every Friday 5-6pm for technical and professional development enrichment activities.
