April Holmes is a sports trailblazer, empowering coach, and impactful leader. Despite losing her leg in a train accident, she defied the constraints of disability to achieve unparalleled heights in Paralympic track & field, breaking 14 IPC World Records and capturing three Paralympic medals. Holmes graduated from Norfolk State in 1996.
Beyond the track, April's impact extends far and wide. She advocates for increased awareness and recognition of people with disabilities. As a sought-after corporate and motivational speaker, she inspires audiences with her messages on motivation, diversity, leadership, and overcoming obstacles. And as an accredited Executive Coach, she empowers C-Suite executives, athletes, and entrepreneurs to unleash their full potential.
