Q) I washed my SpartanCard, can I get a new one at no charge?
A) No. A new card costs $25 and can be purchased at the Cashier's Office using cash, debit or credit, or check. If the card is purchase at the Cashier's Office, the receipt must be brought to the SpartanCard Office to receive the new ID; OR if the patron has enough SpartanBucks on the card to cover the charge, then $25 can be deducted from the patron's card in the SpartanCard Office.
Q) My card was stolen, can I have a one one at no charge?
A) No. There is a $25 replacement fee for lost, damage, and/or stolen cards.
Q) My card is broken, do I have to pay for a replacement?
A) There is a replacement fee for all lost, stolen, or damaged cards. This fee is currently $25 (This price is subject to change).
Q) Can I change my meal plan?
A) Patrons must contact the Office of Residential Life/ Housing regarding all residential meal plan changes.
Q) Where can I add money to my SpartanCard?
A) Patrons may add money by going to the Cashier's office on the second floor of the Student Service Center, using cash, check, or credit/debit; patrons can add cash to their cards using the card management center located in the New Student Center or by going online to SpartanCard Online.
Q) How can I use my financial aid to purchase my books?
A) Patrons receiving a Financial Aid refund may complete a SpartanCard Authorization form on MyNSU or at Student Accounts, which allows financial aid to be placed on the card for purchases. The SpartanCard Office cannot transfer financial aid to the SpartanCard.

Q) I do not live on campus, can I purchase a meal plan?
A) Yes, commuter meal plans may be purchased in the Cashier's office in the increments of 25, 50, 75, and 100 meals. Each plan comes with $100 dining dollars. The meal plans are non-refundable and expire at the end of each semester.
