NSU Game Day Parking — 'Battle of the Bay'
The Norfolk State University Spartans continue the 2026 season when they welcome the Pirates from Hampton University for the annual 'Battle of the Bay' football game at William 'Dick' Price Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026 at 4 p.m. Please see the information below on Game Day operations and parking.
NEW THIS YEAR: A TICKET IS REQUIRED TO ENTER CAMPUS
Every person entering campus on game day must have a valid game ticket — whether arriving on foot or riding in a vehicle. This includes every passenger.
- All entry is through designated perimeter gates with security screening
- Guests may be subject to metal detector screening
- A parking pass or NSU decal is not a game ticket and does not grant campus entry on its own
- The Box Office is closed on game day — purchase in advance at https://nsuspartanstickets.universitytickets.com/
-
Game day tickets cannot be purchased inside the campus perimeter. One customer service location operates outside the gates at the NSU Police Substation (1500 Brambleton Ave., Suite 104).
-
QR codes posted along the campus perimeter link directly to mobile ticket purchase.
-
-
Entering campus: All items are subject to search. Tailgate supplies, coolers, students with luggage and personal items are permitted through the perimeter gates.
-
Entering the stadium: The clear bag policy is strictly enforced. Leave non-approved bags in your vehicle or at your tailgate — bags cannot be checked or stored at the stadium gate.
