
Dr. Mojtaba Sirjani is a Full Professor with over 36 years of experience in higher education, specializing in Applied Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Throughout a distinguished academic and research career, Dr. Sirjani has published over 35 peer-reviewed journal articles and has played a pivotal role in mentoring the next generation of engineers and researchers. This includes supervising numerous undergraduate senior math projects, guiding 20 Ph.D. candidates, and advising 46 master’s students to successful degree completion. Dr. Sirjani has reviewed over a dozen national and international Research journals.
Dr. Sirjani has secured and led several major research grants from esteemed institutions such as Lockheed Martin, the Department of Transportation, the Center of Composite Infrastructure for Homeland Security, the National Science Foundation (NSF), and Norfolk State University. His extensive research portfolio spans theoretical and applied domains, contributing significantly to engineering and applied science advancements.
