Administration & Supervision PreK-12 Concentration

The Administration and Supervision PreK-12 Concentration is geared toward teachers wishing to become an administrator in PreK-12 settings. Teachers must have at least three years of full-time teaching and a full not provisional teaching license. Applicants must provide a copy of their Teacher’s License when applying as well as three performance evaluations. Forms are available through the Graduate School or the Department of Secondary Education and School Leadership. Applicants may be admitted for enrollment in the Fall and Spring terms.

REQUIREMENTS

Administration and Supervision PreK-12 Concentration
The Administration and Supervision PreK-12 track requires that applicants have the following:

  • An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution
  • Complete an NSU online Graduate application
  • A minimum undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.5
  • The candidates are expected to have three years of experience as certified teachers prior to admission (provisional licensure is not accepted)
  • Copy of Teaching License
  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
  • Three letters of recommendation from faculty or employers familiar with the applicant's academic and professional background
  • A personal statement of the applicant’s professional interests and goals
  • Resume
