B.S. Computer Science - Cybersecurity Track (DNIMAS)
The Computer Science – Cybersecurity Track (DNIMAS) integrates core computing with applied science to prepare students for securing modern digital systems. The program combines programming, data structures, operating systems, and software engineering with specialized courses in cybersecurity, cryptography, network security, and digital forensics. Supported by rigorous coursework in calculus, discrete mathematics, physics, and science, students develop strong analytical, technical, and communication skills. Graduates are well-prepared for careers in cybersecurity, network and systems security, and secure computing, or for advanced study in computer science and related disciplines.
The Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Norfolk State University is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, https://www.abet.org, under the General Criteria and the Computer Science Program Criteria.
