Do Transfer students have to stay overnight?
Transfer students may attend all overnight In-person orientations except for the final In-person orientation.
Do parents need to come to NSO?
We have a special program designed just for families and guests during each orientation session. Although it's not required, we highly recommend that they join in on the fun. Parents and families will have their own schedule that runs alongside the student schedule to make sure they get all the information that's tailored to their specific needs.
Due to capacity limits, we can only accommodate a maximum of 2 guests per student.
Do you provide housing for Family and guest?
We regret to inform you that we do not offer on-campus family & guest housing. It is the responsibility of the guests and parents to arrange their own overnight accommodations.
How do I register for courses?
Course registration will be completed as a part of the New Student Orientation process.
Students attending virtual orientation, upon completion, will be assigned an academic advisor within 5-7 business days. This advisor will help you navigate the process of registering for classes.
What answer should I bring to stay overnight at In-person New Student Orientation?
Students attending the In-person New Student Orientation will spend the night on campus in a residence hall. Please refer to the 2025-2026 New Student Orientation Guide on page 10 to familiarize yourself with what you should bring for your overnight stay.
