Unlike other business schools, NSU’s School of Business doesn’t rely on teaching assistants to teach classes. This means that, for each bachelor’s in business course, you’ll have direct access to NSU’s full-time business faculty, 90% of whom hold a Ph.D. degree. What Courses Will I Take as a B.S. in Business Student?
To graduate with your bachelor’s degree in business from NSU, you must complete 121 total credit hours. This will be a combination of general education core courses, business degree core courses, business electives and courses in your chosen concentration. Whichever concentration you choose, you and all NSU students earning bachelor’s degrees in business have opportunities to apply what you learn in real-world business scenarios through an internship experience and a capstone course (BUS 478 Strategic Management).

How Do I Get Started in the B.S. Business Program at NSU?
NSU’s School of Business uses the same admission standards as the University. Our Office of Admissions is ready to help you understand these requirements and apply to NSU’s degrees for business.
Transferring to NSU
If you’ve taken courses in business schools at other AACSB International-accredited colleges and universities, you may be able to apply that credit to your NSU degree in business. You may also receive credit for equivalent non-business courses you’ve taken from other colleges and universities, including those in the Virginia Community College System (VCCS). Our Office of Transfer Admissions & Services (OTAS) can help you have a seamless and positive transfer process.
Scholarships for business degree students
