A Musical Tribute to Luther Vandross

Everyone has a favorite Luther song ... what's yours? Few artists captured audience hearts like Luther Vandross. This heartfelt "Vegas Style" love letter to Luther features the music you love and the voice of William "Smooth" Wardlaw, whom Tom Joyner calls, "the reincarnation of one of the greatest R&B crooners of all times!" The Norfolk State University Alumni Association will honor its Chapter of the Year, Alumnus of the Year and Chapter Service Award recipients. The 2024-25 Mr. Alumni will receive his crown and mark the beginning of his reign as the Association’s goodwill ambassador.

This annual tradition features university and community organizations. It begins at Booker T. Washington High School on the corner of Park Avenue and Virginia Beach Boulevard.
