Dr. Haowei(Alice) Chen is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Norfolk State University. She received her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of South Florida in 2025. Her research focuses on data-driven modeling, learning, and control of dynamical systems, with particular interests in operator-theoretic methods, Koopman-based learning, rough paths and signatures, fractional-order systems, and Kolmogorov–Arnold Networks. Her work develops mathematical and computational methods for learning complex dynamical systems under uncertainty, noise, and partial observations.
