The Vanguard Society
Through engagement and extraordinary generosity, the Vanguard Society honors individuals and couples who are leaders in the community of philanthropy and who help sustain the university with a cumulative lifetime gift of $10 million or more.
The Trailblazers' Society
The Trailblazers' Society honors individuals and couples whose cumulative lifetime giving is between $1 million and $9,999,999 who transform philanthropic possibilities into realities and demonstrate unwavering confidence in Norfolk State University.
The Lyman Beecher Brooks Society
The Lyman Beecher Brooks Society recognizes individuals whose lifetime giving to Norfolk State University has reached $100,000 or more. The members of this prestigious group are honored with a Lyman Beecher Brooks medallion.
The Emerald Society
The Emerald Society recognizes individuals whose lifetime giving to Norfolk State University is $50,000-$99,999. The members of this prestigious group are honored with an elegant lapel pin with a green emerald. Upon reaching this milestone, new members to this society are inducted every 1-2 years on average.
The Visionary Society
The Norfolk State University Visionary Society was established to honor and recognize a distinguished group of alumni, supporters, and friends who have made a lasting impact on the future of Norfolk State University through Gift Planning.
