Oral Presentation Guidelines
Oral Presenters are allowed a maximum of ten minutes to present and should prepare for up to five minutes of audience questions following their presentation.
Oral presenters must email their final presentation slides, no later than Sunday, April 5, 2026 at 11:59 PM, to riseugsc@nsu.edu. Presenters are HIGHLY encouraged to bring their presentation slides, on a flash drive, with them to the RISE event.

April 21, 2026- Presentation Prep: Present with Purpose. Compete with Confidence by attending a prep sessions. Reserve your spot by emailing acmoore@nsu.edu with Subject: RISE 2026 Prep Day
Poster Requirements
- Students may reuse previously printed posters.
- Use this PowerPoint slide as a template for your RISE poster presentation. RISE Poster Template
- Posters must be 36 inches in length by 48 inches in width and saved as a PDF.
- Posters must be oriented horizontally (i.e. "landscape").
- Posters must be on a white background, with a minimum amount of color.
- Posters must be reviewed by faculty sponsors before submission.
Printing Your Poster
- Submit the correctly formatted poster to riseugsc@nsu.edu no later than 5:00 pm on April 10, 2026
- Your poster will be reviewed for format requirements and if approved, submitted for printing.
- If your poster format is not formatted correctly, it will be returned to you for edits. If edits are not completed and resubmitted by 5:00 on April 13, you may not be able to get your poster printed.
- Once your poster is printed, you will be notified.
- You must pick up your printed poster no later than 5:00 pm on April 22, 2026
