Presentation Guidelines

Oral Presentation Guidelines

Oral Presenters are allowed a maximum of ten minutes to present and should prepare for up to five minutes of audience questions following their presentation.

Oral presenters must email their final presentation slides, no later than Friday, April 5, 2026 at 11:59 PM,  to riseugsc@nsu.edu. Presenters are HIGHLY encouraged to bring their presentation slides, on a flash drive, with them to  the RISE event.

Poster Requirements

  • Use this PowerPoint slide as a template for your RISE poster presentation. RISE Poster Template
  • Posters must be no larger 36 inches in length by 48 inches in width.
  • Posters must be oriented horizontally (i.e. "landscape"). 
  • Posters must be on a white background, with a minimum amount of color. 
  • Posters must be reviewed by faculty sponsors before submission.
  • Students may reuse previously printed posters as long as it falls within the above size range
