Conrad Hall
A native of Norfolk, Virginia, Conrad Hall retired as CEO of Dominion Enterprises, Inc., after a 40-year career in the media, marketing, and information services industries. He is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, and he received an MBA from the University of Virginia.
He served as an artillery officer in the United States Army. His civic activities include serving on the Boards of Visitors of Norfolk State University and the Eastern Virginia Medical School. Previously, he was a member of the Boards of Visitors of the Virginia Military Institute and Old Dominion University. He serves on the boards of the Access College Foundation, Norfolk State University, Norfolk Academy, Landmark Charitable Foundation, Inc., the Slover Library Foundation, and more. He is a past president of the VMI Foundation, Inc., and was chairman of VMI Investment Holdings, LLC.
Hall has donated a million dollars to the University to endow a professorship in constitutional and US history. Hall has been involved in civic activities for many years and has served as Chairman of the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters Foundation (CHKD) and as a Director of the CHKD hospital board for eight years. He served two terms on the Board of Visitors of Old Dominion University (ODU) and eight years on the ODU investment committee. He was a Trustee for 12 years of the VMI Foundation, Inc., including serving as its President. He was Chairman of VMI Investment Holdings, LLC, which manages the endowment of VMI. He has served as a Trustee of the ACCESS College Foundation, including chairing a $20M endowment campaign. In April 2023, Mr. Hall was inducted into Norfolk State's Lyman Beecher Brooks Society, which recognizes individuals whose lifetime giving to NSU is $100,000 or greater.
