Norfolk State University has launched a campaign showcasing its economic impact on the Hampton Roads region. Billboards specific to each of the seven cities making up the region can now be seen on prominent displays along key traffic corridors.
Working in collaboration with city officials and local businesses, NSU photographed our students in some of the area’s most iconic locations in Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk and Virginia Beach.
Since its founding in 1935, Norfolk State University has been proud to support the economy of a thriving Hampton Roads. Each year, we contribute millions of dollars to the local economy in the way of student spending, tax impacts, employment opportunities and the upward mobility of our graduates within the communities we serve.
