We offer five history degree concentrations, so History majors like you can chart the path that works best for their career goals and schedules. If you’re interested in joining NSU’s Army ROTC or Navy ROTC programs, our military science concentrations in either Army or Navy history would be an ideal degree for you. Want to teach history and social studies in the Virginia public school system? Earning a B.A. in History-Social Science will prepare you to apply for Virginia teaching licensure. If you live outside Virginia or are a working professional with a busy schedule, you can major in History online — the easiest way to create the best course of study for you.
