Enrollment Checklist for Entering Freshmen
For Admission
Submit the undergraduate application, the $25 application fee, and any required documents to Undergraduate Admissions by May 1 for priority consideration. www.nsu.edu/behold.
For Financial Aid
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now open for 2021-2022 academic year. This year's FAFSA is based on Family/Student income for the 2019 tax year. Be sure to include our federal school code, 003765.
For Scholarships

Freshman Enrollment Deposit
Once admitted, submit a $100 non-refundable freshman enrollment deposit.
For Housing
Complete the Residence Hall Housing Contract and submit the $300 non-refundable housing application fee and prepayment to Housing and Residential Communities. Click here for important dates and details about the housing application.
For Orientation
Read about the NSU New Student Orientation and register online. The deadlines are:
- Fall Enrollment Confirmation Deadline: May 1st
- Spring Enrollment Confirmation Deadline: December 1st
