Scholarships are gifts. They do not need to be repaid. There are thousands offered by schools, employers, individuals, private companies, nonprofits, communities, religious groups, and professional and social organizations.

HBCU Scholarships

  • TMCF

    Established in 1987, the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) is the nation’s largest organization exclusively representing the Black College Community. TMCF member-schools include the publicly-supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs). Publicly-supported HBCUs enroll over 80% of all students attending HBCUs.

  • UNCF Scholarships

    UNCF has helped more than 500,000 students earn their college degrees since its founding.

    UNCF is the nation’s largest private scholarship provider to minority group members. Each year, we award more than $100 million in scholarships to students attending more than 1,100 schools across the country.
