Valenté Frazier ’98

Valenté Frazier is an Exceptional Emmy Award-winning makeup Artist and actor. As an actor, Marten has been featured as John Todd Jr. in the PBS episode of Dolly Madison on The American Experience; John Taylor in First Landing for ABC Family; Irving Berlin in George Lucas’s Young Indiana Jones Chronicles for ABC Television; in Hollywood Pictures’ Eddie; and in more than 40 motion pictures. Tyra Banks, Iman, Rihanna, Heidi Klum, Angela Bassett, and even Michelle Obama are just a few of the A-List clients that Frazier has worked with. Additionally, Marten left the College of William & Mary to pursue a journalism concentration at Norfolk State. Furthermore, he filmed the karate action movie Eyes of the Roshi, which explores the decisions we must all make in life. The indifferent, the ugly, the evil, and the good. At Atlantic Film Studios, which is regarded as Virginia's first full-service motion picture production company, Marten served as vice president of marketing. He currently serves as the CEO and president of Light Age Films, a Virginia-based company. Over the course of his lengthy career, he has produced or executive-produced 17 television episodes and 14 films, including the science fiction thriller Atlantis Down and White Buffalo: An American Prophecy.
