The Pell Initiative at Norfolk State University advances student success by providing Holstein, comprehensive support for primarily Pell-eligible students from entry through completion, while also supporting transfer students and students who are parents through intentional engagement, experiential and worked based learning, and strategically designed student supports.  

OUR MISSION

The mission of the Spartan Student Parent Network is to foster an inclusive community that connects Pell-eligible student-parents with peers, faculty mentors, and the campus community to promote academic success, personal wellness, and career preparation. Through access to essential resources, the program empowers student-parents to successfully complete their academic journey and achieve their educational and career goals.
