Subject Area CONTENT Concentration
These concentrations are designed for teachers pursuing their Master’s degree as well as interested in re-certification in their content area. Applicants must submit a copy of their teaching license as well as complete the Certificate of Preliminary Endorsement Form.
REQUIREMENTS
Subject Area Content Concentration
The Subject Area Content Concentration requires applicants have the following:
- An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution
- Complete an NSU online Graduate application
- A minimum undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.5
- Copy of Teaching License
- Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
- Three letters of recommendation from faculty or employers familiar with the applicant's academic and professional background
- A personal statement of the applicant’s professional interests and goals
- Resume
- Complete a Certificate of Preliminary Endorsement form by an advisor in the academic department of intended major (completed after the interview). Click here to access the form.
