Role Title: Assistant professor – 01014
Position - The college of Science, Engineering and Technology seeks applications for a nine-month tenure-track position in Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics at Norfolk State University.
Responsibilities: Duties include teaching mathematics courses at all levels with commitment to academic excellence. Additionally, the successful candidate is expected to advise students; develop the curriculum; establish and maintain a relationship with industry; serve on departmental, school, and university committees; and perform appropriate scholarly and service activities, demonstrate productive and active research with publications, presentations and grantsmanship.

Qualifications: Doctorate in (Computational Applied or Applied) Mathematics with understanding of and graduate experience in current trends in data science & analytics; record of teaching and scholarly achievement, evidence of research and grantsmanship.
Salary/Rank: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
