At the Virginia Beach Higher Education Center (VBHEC), Norfolk State University brings together education, training, and community connection in one welcoming, well-equipped space. VBHEC offers a variety of programs designed to help participants reach their goals and improve their quality of life, and it's also home to NSU's Center for Public Health Initiatives.
Alongside these programs, VBHEC provides flexible space for meetings, training sessions, and small events — inviting NSU faculty, staff, and students, community organizations, public and private sector employers, and regional partners to make use of this emerging hub for community-centered engagement.

Mission
Norfolk State University at the Virginia Beach Higher Education Center expands access to high-quality community and professional education by delivering responsive programs and providing a collaborative space for learning, engagement and connection.
