Mr. Frank T. Elliott
Frank T. Elliott is an Instructor of Music at NSU where he teaches Piano, Humanities Online courses and serves as Coordinator of Secondary Piano. He oversees the piano instruction of more than one hundred music majors each semester. Mr. Elliott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, a Master of Music degree in Music Education, and a Certificate of Online Instruction from Norfolk State University. He is currently a doctoral student at Boston University conducting dissertation research on piano pedagogy in higher education. He also serves the larger NSU community as a member of the Curriculum Committee for the College of Liberal Arts. He serves on the Board of Directors for Dance Dimensions, a Hampton Roads music and dance academy. For almost twenty years, he has served as Director of Music for the historic Third Baptist Church in Portsmouth, Virginia.
