As you embark on your new journey as a Spartan, one step is to register to attend New Student Orientation.
Step One
Access your NSU student email account, visit First-time Students webpage. For assistance logging into your student email account contact clientservices@nsu.edu or call 757-823-8678.
Step Two
Math Placement Test (First Time Freshman only, if applicable) - Take the math placement test by emailing testingcenter@nsu.edu or call (757) 823-8611. (does not apply to transfer students)
Step Three
Start the mandatory Not Anymore Training and obtain a score of at least 80% on the post test. Visit this page and use Registration Key 7528c609 to start the mandatory Not Anymore Training.
Step Four
Submit your health immunization form by visiting Med Proctor . Type in your spartan email address to get started and follow the directions to start a new account. For assistance contact the Spartan Health Center at 757-278-3360
Step five
Request your student identification card also known as SpartanCard by emailing spartancardphoto@nsu.edu or call (757) 823-9479 to submit a request. For more information check-out the SpartanCard webpage.
Step six
Before registering, you must review the items on the admitted student checklist.
- Please note that there are several steps to complete before you can register for NSO. To register for NSO log into your Spartan Portal.
- To log in to your Spartan Portal, please utilize the username and password you created to log into your NSU Application.
- Please complete the required College Student Inventory (CSI) survey. This survey is a part of your New Student Orientation.The CSI is a survey used to help and identify specific needs and recommendations, both academically and non-academically for incoming freshmen.
