Presidential Internship Program
The Presidential Internship Program is NSU's premier work-based learning program. It has been in existence for over 10 years, designed to equip students to have substantial experiences under the mentorship of supportive campus leaders. Students applying for the program should be
- Students with a 3.0 or higher.
- Students who submit a stellar resume and application.
- Students who interview for the opportunity.
- Students who will be ready to be their Spartan Best for the University!
- Students selected as an intern can expect to receive:
- Feedback on their performance, utilization of tools, and/or feedback on a project that helps students enhance his or her workplace skills.
- Resources - i.e. Linkedin Learning, Career Assessments, and access to our State-wide Internship Prep tools. These resources help interns to navigate the career search process.
The Presidential Internship Program is a very competitive program as only 10-15 students are selected to participate. Over 100 individuals have successfully participated in this program and were positioned for other experiences as a result.
