Our Mission
The Spartan Transfer Academic and Mentorship Program (S.T.A.M.P.) is committed to expanding access to Norfolk State University for students who demonstrate academic potential and support their successful transition, persistence, and degree completion.
S.T.A.M.P. provides structured academic support, intentional mentorship, and meaningful engagement opportunities designed to strengthen retention, foster early connections with faculty and peers, and cultivate a strong sense of belonging within the Spartan community.
Through partnerships with community colleges and campus-based resources, the program supports transfer students—from pre-admission through graduation—by offering targeted retention initiatives, enrichment experiences, and dedicated support for Pell Grant–eligible students.
S.T.A.M.P. exists to transform the transfer student experience by creating intentional pathways to academic excellence, institutional commitment, and lifelong success.
