    - Norfolk State University will hold its May Commencement exercises on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 9 a.m. in William “Dick” Price Stadium on the NSU campus, where more than 600 graduates will receive their diplomas.

    - Norfolk State University (NSU), in partnership with Work Program Architects (WPA), SmithGroup, and S.B. Ballard Construction broke ground on its $118 million New Science Building on Friday, April 18.

  • Students Present at Women’s Conference

    - Four Master of Social Work students held a discussion panel at the Conference on Women and Gender hosted by Christopher Newport University. Under the guidance of Associate Professor Dr. Val Livingston in the Ethelyn R. Strong School of Social Work, Shevelle King, Alexis Campbell, Breanna Miller, and Carmen Good, who are active duty or military veterans, presented on the topic of Women, Military Life and the Boy’s Club.

  • NSU Celebrates $400,000 TowneBank Gift

    - Norfolk State University is thrilled to announce a generous $400,000 gift from TowneBank in support of our student-athletes. The presentation was made during a special reception at the Chrysler Museum Friday, February 28, where the University also welcomed new head football coach Michael Vick. The TowneBank Endowed Athletic Success Fund will provide current and endowed essential scholarship support for student-athletes.
