FALL 2022 HOUSING APPLICATIONS COMING SOON!

The Office of Housing and Residence Life will be publishing the Fall 2022 housing application for all students to apply on January 22, 2021. Please note that the deadlines for the housing application will be March 1st for returning students and May 1st for first-time students (freshmen & transfer).  

SPRING 2022 NORFOLK STATE UNIVERSITY COVID-19 RESPONSE

There is an extensive update regarding the COVID-19 Response at this link dated 12/15/21. The update provides additional information including what is below. Please review the entire update, which contains important information about NSU’s COVID-19 Response.  

Due to the increase of COVID-19 cases and the presence of the omicron variant, NSU has taken steps to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 on campus. These steps include changing the dates for move-in. Move-in is now scheduled to begin on January 12-13, 2022 from 8:30 a.m.- 4:45 p.m. for New Students and Spartan Suites residents. Returning Students will be able to move in on January 13-16, 2022 from 8:30 a.m.- 4:45 p.m. All residents can move in immediately after being tested for COVID-19. Walk-In testing will be available on January 16, 2022.

To sign up for your scheduled test date, select your respective sign-up link below. Residents who previously signed up must sign up again. The sign-up links will close on January 7, 2022 at 5 p.m., EST.

Students who return to campus after testing ends at 4:45 p.m. on January 16, 2022, will be required to present a Negative COVID-19 test upon check-in. The off-campus COVID-19 test must be taken up to 72 hours prior to returning to campus.
