Assistance is available to identify information needs, construct effective search strategies, and locate authoritative online resources.
A literature search or a literature review surveys books, scholarly articles and other resources. This will result in the compilation of a list of references on a specific topic. This list may include journal articles or chapters of books. References are obtained by searching the Lyman Beecher Brooks Library Catalog; or our scholarly electronic databases.
If the Lyman Beecher Brooks library does not own the book or articles you are looking for, you may request an interlibrary loan from another library. Please note that Interlibrary loan requires approximately 7 to 14 days for delivery. Make an ILL Request using the Illiad InterLibrary Loan service. Additional information is available on the Interlibrary Loan page of the library website.
Books and journal articles can be delivered to the Virginia Beach Higher Education Center site for collection in Room 146, Meyera Oberndorf Learning Commons or the VBHEC Administrative Suite. To have materials delivered, you must have current status as a registered NSU student.
