Professor Anthony Stockard was honored on Monday, July 12 as one of “25 Game Changers in American Theatre” by Black Masks. The publication which was founded in 1984 is the oldest existing Black/African American theatre journal in the country and is endowed by Tony-Award-winning, Broadway legend Andre DeShields.
The article which begins on page 7 frames the list as “a list of Black theatre actors, playwrights, practitioners, educators and organizations that are invaluable contributors in our field,” said Stockard.
