Norfolk State communications grad from ’13 and ’15 named assistant dean at Rutgers University
Theophilus Clark, our Associate Director of Learning Assistance Programs in the Dr. Patricia Lynch Stith Student Success Center, has accepted a new position with Rutgers University. While we are sorry to see him leave Norfolk State, we are also celebrating the success of this Spartan who received his B.S. in Mass Communications in 2013 and his M.A. in Media and Communications in 2015.
Mr. Clark is joining Rutgers as their new Assistant Dean of Academic Services. In this role, he will oversee their First Year Experience and Second Year Experience programs in their School of Arts and Sciences at the Newark, NJ campus. Additionally, he will oversee campus-wide placement testing and academic standing program initiatives for over 6,000 students.
We congratulate Rutgers on choosing this NSU alumnus and wish Theophilus Clark our very best in the years to come. #Behold #SpartanPride
