108th Commencement Moving Indoors to Echols Hall

Due to the high probability of inclement weather, the 108th Commencement Ceremony scheduled at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022, will move from an outdoor ceremony to an indoor ceremony at Joseph G. Echols Memorial Hall.

Commencement Tickets
Because of limited seating in Echols Hall, each graduate will now receive six (6) tickets for the ceremony. Extra tickets will not be available. Each graduate will receive his/her tickets at the commencement rehearsal at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 6, at Echols Hall. Graduates are required to bring their photo ID to receive their tickets.

We encourage graduates who are not utilizing their full ticket allotment to feel free to share tickets with their fellow classmates. This is a peer-to-peer exchange, which is voluntary.

Overflow Seating
Guests may view the commencement ceremony via livestream at the L. Douglas Wilder Performing Arts Center. Tickets are not required to watch commencement in Wilder Center. Doors will open at 8 a.m.

Face Masks/Face Coverings
University policy requires that everyone, regardless of vaccination status, wear a face mask/face covering while inside University buildings. Graduates will receive a face mask in their graduation packet at the Friday rehearsal.

Graduation Livestream
The commencement ceremony will also available via livestream on the NSU homepage, which can be found at

To view the ceremony, click on the graduation banner at 9 a.mEST to be connected.

We strive to provide the best commencement experience possible to all NSU graduates and their guests. Congratulations to the Class of 2022 and Best Wishes for a bright future!
