NSU English Professor Writes about Autism in New York Times Essay
Norfolk State University English Associate Professor Dr. Jen Malia penned a New York Times essay, published last week, where she wrote about her experiences raising a child with autism spectrum disorder while also learning that she also autistic. The NSU professor has authored an upcoming children’s picture book “Too Sticky! Sensory Issues with Autism,” to help children, parents and to educate others about autism.
