Payment Information
All students are expected to pay prior balances in full before registration for the current term. Students must satisfy current tuition, fees, room and meal costs at the time of registration unless an official NSU payment plan is established (link below) and/or they have been awarded financial aid and other scholarships sufficient to cover the cost.

Registration
Failure to pay a student account bill or any funds due to Norfolk State University by the scheduled date, will result in the prevention of registration for future classes and the receipt of diplomas.
Scholarships
Non-University scholarships are not credited toward tuition, fees, and room and board charges until funds are received; however, these awards may be counted as expected financial aid when establishing a payment plan and included in the total amount of aid that will be used toward payment of University expenses. In order to have a scholarship applied to the student account a copy of scholarship notification should be sent to the financial aid office prior to the tuition deadline.
Tuition and Fee Due Dates
Tuition and Fees are due by the class cancellation dates. Students who do not pay balances in full or setup a payment plan by these dates will have their classes cancelled.
Once classes are canceled, students must re-register for classes and setup a payment plan. Students will be allowed to register for class until the last date of registration. After this date, students will not be allowed to register for classes.
