About the Interns

The Production House Internship program at Norfolk State University is designed to develop the next generation of creative media professionals. Interns gain hands-on experience in video production, podcasting, editing, photography, and media consultation. Through real-world projects, they build confidence, sharpen their storytelling skills, and contribute high-quality content that supports university communications while preparing for careers or graduate studies in the field.

Christian is a sophomore majoring in mass communication/journalism, aspiring to become a multimedia journalist. He writes press releases, works for the student newspaper the Spartan Echo and has drafted text for brochures, flyers and other promotional materials. His aim is to write to encourage, amplify, and unite us all.

Trinitee Bell approaches each project with curiosity and style, blending creative visuals with bold energy. With experience in studio shoots, promotional content, and social reels, Trinitee brings a fresh eye to video and photography. Strong editing skills and a love for vivid color make each piece stand out.

Trinitee also enjoys experimenting with fashion visuals and creative directing, always striving to express emotion and identity through the lens.

Micaiah Brown is a detail-focused content creator with skills in visual storytelling and post-production editing. From music shoots to documentary shorts, Micaiah brings precision and style to every frame. A love for storytelling drives each project, along with strong instincts for pacing and sound.

Micaiah enjoys shaping stories through transitions, rhythm, and color grading, always working to create polished visuals with depth and emotional resonance.


Tatyana Canty

Tatyana Canty brings a passion for real-life storytelling through both video and photography. With a focus on documentary and candid visuals, Tatyana has captured campus events, interviews, and grassroots campaigns. Skilled in editing and production, Tatyana enjoys the process of shaping narratives that inform and inspire. A strong sense of composition and timing guides every project.

Tatyana also explores film, culture, and advocacy through personal creative work.

Myles is a master’s student specializing in digital media production with a focus on videography and photography. Passionate about visual storytelling, he is developing advanced technical and creative skills in cinematography, editing, and image design.

Jadyn Jones-Drewery

Jadyn Jones-Drewery is a second-semester graduate student majoring in Media Production. She had the pleasure of attending the illustrious Norfolk State University as an undergraduate student, where she graduated two years early. Aside from academics, she has been very active on campus. Through coursework and hands-on work experience, she has developed strong skills in video production, live broadcasting, audio engineering, and editing. Post-graduation, she wants to pursue a career where she can apply her communication and creative skills in a professional media and filmmaking environment.
