- Election day: November 5th
- Last day to register to vote in the state of Virginia is October 15th (5pm in person, 11:59pm online); however, the state of Virginia offers same day voter registration.
- The last day to request an absentee ballot by mail is 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 25th.
- Early voting in Norfolk will run from September 20th-November 2nd.
It will be held from 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday at the Norfolk Office of Elections and on Saturdays, October 26th and November 2nd.
- The Norfolk Office of elections is located at Norfolk City Hall, 810 Union Street, Suite 100.
Students Requirements
Students who register to vote using their campus address must provide the full address to include the name of their residence hall and their room numbers.
Early Voting
Early voting at various satellite offices will begin in late October. Hours for the Satellite Office may vary.
