Behold the Green & Gold to our Admitted Students! We want to celebrate with you! Norfolk State University's Admitted Student Day on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Joseph G. Echols Arena. As an admitted student at Norfolk State University, we invite you to #ChooseNSU and take a ride to Sparta!

• Admitted Student Day offers the opportunity to engage with our faculty, staff, and students to help you experience the best NSU has to offer.  

• Admitted Student Day offers a range of opportunities to explore how NSU supports your academic goals, career aspirations, campus life, and financial needs. 

•  This is your time to meet fellow admitted students at NSU and begin building relationships with peers with whom you will grow and share with for the next four years. 

Please note that due to limited space, student registrants are allowed to bring two guests

Tentative Admitted Student Day Schedule:  

• 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Check-in Opens for ASD 2026! 

• 8:30 - 9:10 a.m. Join us for the Spartan Preshow for special surprise performances and giveaways. 

• 9:10 - 9:20 a.m. Receive a warm welcome from our Spartan family! 

• 9:20 - 9:45 a.m. We've got you covered - Presentation from Spartan partners. 

• 9:45 - 10:00 a.m. Overview of the day and dismissal. 

• 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Behold the Yard: 
  • Learn more about our resources and academic programs at our Academic & Resource Fair! 
  • One-on-one with Financial Aid. 
  • Walk the Yard for an exclusive campus tour. 
  • Take part in our Spartan Celebration! 

This schedule may be subject to change.

Overnight accommodation on campus is not available. However, there are several hotels within close proximity to campus for our NSU visitors.
