The Division of Student Affairs (The Office of Campus Life & Diversity), OVW (Office on Violence Against Women) NSU Campus Grant Program and Norfolk State Police Department are official community partners proudly working with Norfolk Public School's “Adopt- A- School” Mentoring Program featured at Ingleside Elementary. During the Thanksgiving season, three Ingleside Elementary students (and their families) received baskets which included a grocery gift card and other festive goodies. In partnership with the Ingleside Tigers, our team will support upcoming events and provide programs at our adopted school to include participation with “Career Day,” Mentoring Programs, “Safety Talks” centered around community engagement through “Education, Prevention & Intervention” with students, staff, and parents. Principal Dr. Alana Williams Balthazar, who is a Norfolk State University Alumna shared that Ingleside Elementary School is “grateful” for the opportunity to partner with Norfolk State University.
