The Office of Financial Aid Office works diligently to assist students as they pursue their educational endeavors. Norfolk State University offers a wide variety of financial aid programs, including: scholarships, grants, student employment opportunities and loans.

Financial Aid

The purpose of Norfolk State University's financial aid program is to provide assistance to qualified students who, without such aid, would be unable to attend the university. Aid is awarded on the basis of need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). - See: Types of Aid

Scholarships

Scholarships are gifts. They don't need to be repaid. There are thousands of them, offered by schools, employers, individuals, private companies, nonprofits, communities, religious groups, and professional and social organizations. - See: Types of Aid
