- International Studies Abroad (ISA)
ISA’s mission is to ignite personal growth through a wide range of affordable education abroad opportunities with a commitment to exceptional support for all participants and their institutions. ISA facilitates cultural discovery and learning through partnerships with distinguished host institutions NSU students. They offer high-quality education abroad programming in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Pacific, providing a range of study abroad, internship abroad and service-learning opportunities. ISA staff members in the U.S. and abroad will work to ensure that you feel supported and valued, so that you can achieve maximum inter cultural learning and fulfill your personal goals.

International Student Exchange Program (ISEP)
ISEP Direct offers Norfolk State University students access to high-quality study abroad programs at universities in more than 25 countries around the world. With flexible semester, summer, and year-long options, students can choose programs that match their academic goals, career interests, and budget. ISEP Direct program fees typically include tuition, health insurance, and often housing, while students also receive comprehensive pre-departure guidance, on-site orientation, and support throughout their experience abroad. Whether you're looking to study in popular destinations or explore emerging global locations, ISEP Direct provides an accessible pathway to an immersive international education.

Knowledge Exchange Institute (KEI)
KEI offers affordable quality programs that combine major-specific courses, general studies, intensive foreign language and experiential learning. There programs are geographically diverse; more than half are in Africa, Asia, Latin American and the Middle East. 75% of their program participants come from state universities and small liberal arts colleges.
- Spanish Studies Abroad (SSA)
Spanish Studies Abroad provides learning experiences in Spanish-speaking countries, focused primarily on North American university-level students. Their offerings include Seville, Alicante and Barcelona in Spain and Havana, Cuba; Córdoba, Argentina; and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Students choose to study with SSA – in both English and Spanish – to develop language fluency, to experience new cultures and to obtain university credit. For university students, we offer academic years, semesters and short programs of 3 to 4 weeks in May or summer months. Most of our students live with local families for a deep immersion in the culture as well as for language fluency.
In addition to the standard academic offerings, Spanish Studies Abroad supports many customized faculty-led learning programs, including faculty-led trips and study tours.
