Enterprise Applications Services

Enterprise Applications Services (EAS) provides access, training, and customer support to university students, staff, and faculty. EAS also maintains partnerships and account management for vendors providing ERP and other Enterprise Applications. Systems supported include Colleague Financials.

Colleague

Colleague is Norfolk State University's enterprise resource planning system which allows faculty, staff and administrators to process student and financial related data. Modules included in Colleague Student are Academic Records, Accounts Receivable, Admissions Management, Campus Organizations, Curriculum Management, Faculty Information, Financial Aid, Person Demographics, Registration, and Residence Life.

Modules included in Colleague Financials (CF) are General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Fixed Assets and Projects Accounting. Additionally, Informer Web Reporting is an ad-hoc reporting tool for Colleague

Colleague Availability

Colleague Student and Colleague Financials full system functionality are accessible using UI Web via the MyNSU portal. Spartan Self Service, a personalized web experience of Colleague that provides intuitive processes based on the needs of the user (course management, advising, financial information, etc…) is also available via the portal.

Access to Colleague

Access to Colleague may be obtained by completing and submitting the Resource Authorization form and the appropriate Colleague Access Request forms to the Office of Information Technology – Client Services. The forms link is located at the top of this website.

Schedule Colleague Training

Colleague training is ongoing and may be requested by an e-mail to the Colleague Training Team at: colleaguetraining@nsu.edu. The e-mail should include session choices (first and second), the department of which you are assigned, and a contact number. A confirmation will be sent via e-mail.
