Army ROTC Learning Community

A First-Year Learning Community

We see the future LEADER in you!

This Learning Community is for first-year students who want to experience and learn more about the Army ROTC program, first-hand. This program not only trains, develops, and prepares students for a future career as an Army Officer, it gives them the leadership tools and skills needed to succeed in any industry or profession. The AROTC Learning Community will promote a shared understanding of Army culture and values while also providing a support network and learning environment that fosters esprit de corps, teamwork, and camaraderie.

  • The AROTC Learning Community can help students adjust to the demands of AROTC and college life more smoothly.
  • The AROTC Learning Community has structured study groups, tutoring, and mentoring from upperclassmen or cadre.
  • Being surrounded by like-minded peers can help students stay on track with coursework, thus improving academic success.
  • Being part of an AROTC-focused community helps students build connections with faculty, military officers, and other professionals.
  • Early exposure to leadership training and networking can give students a competitive edge in securing military and civilian leadership roles.
