*The Joint School of Public Health at Old Dominion University and Norfolk State University, including the Master of Public Health (MPH) program provided by Norfolk State University as part of the Joint School, is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH), an independent agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit schools of public health and public health programs. In June 2026, the CEPH Board of Councilors accredited the Joint School of Public Health for a five-year term beginning January 9, 2023. With successful continued documentation of compliance, the accreditation may be extended through 2031.
