Consortium for Strategic & Global Studies

Founded in 2000, the Consortium for Strategic and Global Studies (CSGS), formerly known as the Center for Strategic and Global Studies, was created to provide interdisciplinary analysis of international relations, foreign policy development, national security, military strategy, and international law.

To date, the Consortium has generated analysis of approximately 160 countries. The Consortium's mission includes:

  • Establishing a research venue for the academic, business, legal, military and political communities.
  • Providing opportunities for scholars to exchange information and conduct research.
  • Expanding connections and interactions within the community of global scholars.
  • Acting as a conduit to governmental agencies, businesses and organizations seeking analysis of national security issues.
  • Providing research opportunities for area students interested in perfecting and enhancing both their research skills and their knowledge of the global community.
