Residential Leader
The Residential Leader (RL) position focuses on enhancing the quality of life in the residence halls, including fostering community, providing academic support, and being attentive to safety and security of residents. The position requires an individual who is flexible enough to assume a variety of roles as dictated by the changing needs of students. It is crucial that an individual be able to relate well to others and handle administrative responsibilities. The RL is more than just a friendly presence; he/she a mentor and is the crucial link in creating an environment in which students develop independence and learn to live cooperatively with others.
Resources to effectively complete the RL role are obtained from the Programming Resource Center. RL's create bulletin boards in addition to hosting and developing passive and active programming.
Recruitment
The Residential Leader Selection Process for 2024-2025 recruiting period is open for the duration of January 24th to February 7th. This is due on or before February 7th by 11:59pm. Applicants can access the RL application through the Housing Self-service portal.

- If you do not see the menu, click on the menu icon ☰ next to the NSU logo on the top of the page.
- Click on New RL Application 2024-2025 to access the form.
- Sign the agreement and complete the questionnaire.
