Professional School Counseling PreK-12 Concentration

The Profesional School Counseling (PSC) PreK-12 concentration is designed for applicants wishing to become school counselors in Pre-kindergarten through grade twelve. Applicants may be admitted for enrollment in the fall and spring semesters.

REQUIREMENTS

The Profesional School Counseling (PSC) PreK-12 concentration requires that applicants have the following:

  • An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution
  • Complete an NSU online graduate application
  • A minimum undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.5
  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
  • Three letters of recommendation from faculty or employers familiar with the applicant's academic and professional background
  • A personal statement of the applicant’s professional interests and goals
  • Resume
