The Spartan Food Pantry program is a Division of Student Affairs initiative aimed at decreasing food insecurity on campus. The pantry stocks a variety of dry and canned goods, limited produce, toiletries, and school supplies. There are two food pantries located on campus and students can shop once a week for free groceries and supplies. The Spartan Food Pantry program is managed by a team of student interns and staff. Both pantries are open to all NSU residential or commuter students.

Hours of Operation
The Spartan Food Pantry located in the Dean of Students Office is available during normal operating business hours on Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. The Spartan Food Pantry located in Residential Complex-North is also available during normal operating business hours of Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. However, students who need access before or after these hours can still access the pantry by visiting the front desk staff in the Complex.
What do I need to shop at the Spartan Food Pantry?
You must be an NSU commuter or residential student to shop at the Spartan Food Pantry. You are required to bring your NSU ID card and be registered for the current semester. Students are encourage to also bring a reusable bag as we have a limited supply available.
Do we have to pay for the food that the Spartan Food Pantry provides?
No. All food and items in the food pantry are provided free of charge.
What items are available at the Spartan Food Pantry?
We accept/provide non-perishable food items, toiletries, linen, and school supplies.
